My fiance and I saw this from an Ariel view making it Most of the South East England coast is developed to some extent with the vast majority of the coastline within touching distance of a road or a car park - Coverhurst Bay is one of the few wilderness beaches that remains. The beach is more than half an hours walk from the nearest through some of the most stunning countryside in the region, through forests, across stream before eventually popping out in a secluded cove under the sandstone cliffs of the Hastings Country Park.

The naturist beach at Fairlight Glen lies on the coast between Hastings about two miles to the west and the delightful town of Rye to the east. In fact, the beach is in Covehurst Bay, at the bottom of Fairlight Glen. Fairlight Cove is a seaside village a two miles to the east. Naturist use of this beach was first recognised by the local council in , although it had been in use for many years prior to that. It enjoyed official status by the Council until when it was reclassified as unofficial for reasons unknown.
